to our new

website

Before we went to America to visit David in 2007, we thought that it would be a good idea to keep an on-line diary, so that our family and friends back in England - and David - could follow our progress.

 

We bought the domain henleyusa.co.uk and Chris wrote a website which he updated throughout the holiday.

 

We then added other holidays until the website was lost by the platform that hosted it.

This website used to be hosted by Moonfruit.

In 2021 we were told that the Moonfruit platform was due to close and that all websites would be transferred to Wix. This did not happen, we were told that the website was "unmigrateable" and it was lost.

​

For a brief while the website was reactivated and we were able to copy all of the data. We then tried to rebuild the website on the Wix platform. Then we decided that because of the unreliability of website platforms we would keep all the records of previous holidays in print form and just use this website for the current year and the two or three previous years.
